    Thursday Night Football finally gives us the game I’ve had circled since the schedule dropped \u2014 the Lions traveling to the brand-new Highmark Stadium to face Josh Allen and the Bills. This is the first regular-season game in Buffalo’s new building, it’s a short week for both teams, and I think it sets up beautifully for a same-game parlay. Here’s how I’m building mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Odds referenced below are from DraftKings as of midweek and will move before kickoff \u2014 always check the live line before you bet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Why I’m leaning into this game<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    I watched Allen tear through Houston’s defense in Week 1 \u2014 334 yards and two touchdowns through the air, another 23 yards and two more scores on the ground \u2014 and what stood out to me wasn’t just the box score, it was how he spread the ball around. Dalton Kincaid went for 130 yards on five catches, DJ Moore matched him with five catches for 100 yards. That’s not a one-read offense. That’s a quarterback picking apart a defense that was supposed to be the best in the league.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Then I looked at what Detroit’s secondary just did against Tyler Shough of all people \u2014 over 400 passing yards allowed, with Chris Olave going for nearly 200 yards receiving. And Detroit was already without both starting safeties, Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch, for that game. As of this week, both are still listed on PUP. If that holds into Thursday, I don’t love the Lions’ chances of slowing down Allen and this receiving corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    My parlay legs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Game total: Over 53.5<\/strong> Both offenses hit the Over in Week 1, and now you’ve got a banged-up Lions secondary walking into a short week against the guy who just carved up a top defense. I don’t see this staying under 54.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Bills -3 (or better, if you can find it)<\/strong> Buffalo covered as a favorite in Week 1, they’re at home for the first time in their new stadium, and this crowd is going to be loud. I’m not fading Allen on a short week at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Josh Allen Over on his passing yards prop<\/strong> I’ll take whatever number is posted closer to kickoff, but I want to be on Allen going over \u2014 this Lions secondary just gave up 400+ yards through the air, and Allen has more weapons than Shough does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Dalton Kincaid anytime touchdown<\/strong> He was Allen’s clear top target in Week 1. Against a defense that’s shorthanded at safety, I like Kincaid finding the end zone again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Amon-Ra St. Brown Over on receptions<\/strong> This is my hedge leg. Even in a game where I expect Buffalo to control things, Detroit is going to throw to keep pace, and St. Brown is Jared Goff’s security blanket regardless of score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The bottom line<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    I’m building this as an Over-heavy, Bills-leaning parlay, with St. Brown as my one piece of insurance if Detroit falls behind and has to sling it. This is one of those games where both offenses have a real shot at 30, and I’d rather be on the side of “this gets chaotic” than “this stays low.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
