Odds are my own estimates after Week 5, not lines from a sportsbook. Each quarterback is his own market, so the percentages add up to more than 100%.

Malik Willis, Dolphins (+150)

Still the favorite, and it’s not close. Miami fell to 0-5 with a 31-24 loss to Cincinnati. Willis threw two picks and lost a fumble, and still came away with 137 yards and a touchdown through the air plus a rushing score.

He’s dead last among qualified quarterbacks in completion percentage and passer rating, which tells you most of what you need to know.

Jeff Hafley says he’s not thinking about switching. Okay. But Miami has a bye now and doesn’t play again until it visits the Jets on Oct. 25, so there’s plenty of time to think about it.

Jacoby Brissett, Cardinals (+400)

Brissett actually played fine. Almost 300 yards, three touchdowns, one pick. The problem is Detroit hung 45 on them and Arizona’s now 1-4.

The Cardinals backed him after the three-interception mess against the Giants, and I figure that holds for now. Losing four of five doesn’t help his case though.

Deshaun Watson, Browns (+600)

Ugly one. Watson was 15 of 33 for 155 yards in a 17-12 loss to the Jets, took eight sacks, and put the ball on the ground four times.

Cleveland’s still 3-2, so nobody’s panicking yet. Another game like that and people will start asking though.

Tyler Shough, Saints (+700)

Rough night for him. Shough threw for just 96 yards and two picks in a 23-13 loss to Minnesota.

That’s three losses in a row and the Saints are 1-4. One bad game won’t cost him his job, but the questions are coming.

Kyler Murray, Vikings (+1500)

Nothing to worry about here. The Vikings are 5-0 and Murray threw for 229 and a touchdown in a 23-13 win over the Saints.

Way better than the last couple weeks, too.

Michael Penix Jr., Falcons (+2500)

Penix was having a decent day, 240 yards and a touchdown, before a big hit in the fourth quarter knocked him out with a rib injury. Atlanta lost 30-23 in overtime to Baltimore, and he watched the extra period from the sideline.

Reports say it’s not serious and the Falcons are hoping he plays against the Bears. Either way, that’s an injury, not a benching.

Kirk Cousins, Raiders (+3000)

Rough day for the whole Raiders team. New England beat them 45-17 and Cousins finished with 243 yards and a touchdown on 19 of 28.

He wasn’t the problem, and Vegas is still 3-2.

Geno Smith, Jets (+3500)

Geno got the win, kind of. The Jets beat Cleveland 17-12 in the rain and he threw for 182 and a touchdown, with a lost fumble in there too.

Not his prettiest game, but the Jets scored ten in the fourth to pull it out and they’re 2-3. Nobody’s talking about his job.

Bryce Young, Panthers (+5000)

Bye week, and he’s still the best story on this list. Carolina’s 2-2 and sitting a half game up in the NFC South, with Philadelphia next.

Nobody’s benching him.

So Where’s This Headed

Five weeks in I’m still taking Willis. That bye makes me think Miami at least looks at its options. Arizona keeps backing Brissett but they’ve lost four of five. Watson moved up after eight sacks and four fumbles, and Shough’s bad night puts him in the mix too. Young, Murray and Geno look fine to me.

Nobody’s been benched yet and the coaches in Miami, Tennessee and Arizona all say they’re sticking with their guy. Cam Ward isn’t on this board but he’s worth a look too. He threw for 170 with a pick in a 26-3 loss to Houston and the Titans are 0-5.
