College Football Week 10 Picks 2026: Predictions Against the Spread for the Biggest Games

Ohio State lost at USC last week, which makes it four straight weeks where a top-two team lost to an unranked opponent. You can’t make this stuff up. And Week 10 is the best slate of the year on paper. Miami goes to Notre Dame, BYU-Utah is a top-10 game, plus Georgia at Ole Miss and Alabama at LSU. Here are my 10 picks.

Saturday, Nov. 7 (Noon)

BYU at Utah — BYU +5.5

Utah’s 8-0 and just smoked Cincinnati 49-25, with a pick-six and a scoop-and-score mixed in. I’ll give them that one. But BYU has won the last three in this rivalry, and the Cougars bounced back from the UCF loss by beating Arizona State.

Rivalry game, total under 50, more than five points. I’ll take BYU and the points.

Texas at Missouri — Texas -2.5

Remember when Texas lost two straight and people wanted Arch Manning benched? The Longhorns are 6-2 now and 3-0 against ranked teams. That’s a better resume than most of the top 10.

Missouri’s had some big wins, but Ole Miss beat them 31-3 the last time they faced a real contender. Just a field goal to lay with Texas. I’ll do it.

UCLA at Minnesota — Minnesota +5.5

UCLA’s 8-0, and I keep waiting for the offense to show up. The Bruins beat Oregon 17-15 and Wisconsin 17-7. That’s not exactly blowing people away.

Minnesota already beat Michigan and just knocked off Iowa on a walk-off field goal. The total is 39.5, which tells you this is gonna be a rock fight. In a game like that, nearly six points is a lot. Gophers.

Saturday Afternoon

Alabama at LSU — LSU -5.5

Both teams had last week off and both are 6-2, so no excuses either way. LSU’s been rolling since that OT loss at Kentucky. They shut out Mississippi State and then went to Auburn and won.

Alabama’s beaten Texas A&M since the Tennessee mess, but I’m still not sold on that offense. Tiger Stadium in November is no fun for anybody. LSU covers.

Oregon at Ohio State — Ohio State -7.5

Ohio State outgained USC and still lost 30-18. New QB Luke Fahey threw for 260 and wasn’t the problem. The Buckeyes just couldn’t finish drives.

Oregon came back to beat Northwestern, but this is the same team that fired its offensive coordinator two weeks ago. Ohio State back home, ticked off and falling in the rankings? That’s a bad combo for the Ducks. Lay it.

Cincinnati at Houston — Houston -11

Cincinnati beat Texas Tech, then got buried by Utah. The Bearcats were down 42-6 at one point. That’s the one that worries me about them on the road again.

Houston’s 6-2 and its losses are respectable, including a close one at Utah. Total’s 62.5, so points will be there. I think Houston pulls away late. Cougars.

Saturday Night

Kentucky at Tennessee — Kentucky +6.5

Kentucky’s 7-1 and tied with Georgia on top of the SEC. Under a first-year coach! At some point we have to stop treating Will Stein’s team like a fluke.

Tennessee’s tough at home, I know. The Vols handled Alabama there. But they also blew a late lead at South Carolina two weeks ago. Getting almost a touchdown with Kentucky feels right. Wildcats.

Miami at Notre Dame — Miami +5.5

Miami’s 8-0 and No. 1, and somehow it’s still getting points. Yes, the Canes have been living dangerously. Double OT against Florida State, 38-35 at North Carolina last week. But they keep finding a way.

Notre Dame lost the only real test it had, at BYU. Until the Irish beat somebody this good, I’ll take the unbeaten team getting points. Miami.

Georgia at Ole Miss — Georgia -3.5

Georgia came off the bye and destroyed Florida 27-8. Four takeaways, four sacks, and the Gators ran for 54 yards. That’s the Georgia defense people were waiting on.

Ole Miss can score, no question. And the Rebels bounced back from the Texas loss by beating Auburn. But Georgia’s front looks dialed in right now. Laying the field goal and the hook. Dawgs.

Oklahoma at Florida — Oklahoma +6.5

Florida scored eight points against Georgia and swapped quarterbacks mid-game, going from Philo to Tramell Jones. Not a great sign. Oklahoma’s 4-4, but the defense keeps the Sooners in almost every game.

Total’s 45.5, which means a touchdown is a big cushion. Sooners plus the points.
