Two teams are on bye this week, the Chiefs and Panthers, so we’re down to 15 games. Only two unbeaten teams are playing, the Vikings and 49ers, and both are on the road. Last week wasn’t kind to us, either. We went 7-9 against the spread, and a handful of those losses were by a hook or a single score. Here’s every game based on DraftKings odds.

Thursday, Oct. 8
Buccaneers at Cowboys — Buccaneers +10
Tampa Bay is 0-4 and nobody wants to touch them, which is exactly why I’m looking at the points. The latest was a 17-14 loss to Green Bay, so they’re not getting run off the field. Dallas just gave up 30 to Houston and needed 34 of its own to win. A defense that leaky shouldn’t be laying ten.
Sunday, Oct. 11 (London)
Eagles vs. Jaguars — Jaguars -3.5
Philly’s lost two straight now, 27-7 to Chicago and then 24-20 to the Rams at home. That’s not great for a team everyone had penciled in as a contender. Jacksonville is 3-1 and fresh off a win at Cincinnati. I trust the Jags to look sharper in this one.
Sunday, Oct. 11
Bengals at Dolphins — Bengals -7.5
Miami is 0-4 and managed 10 points in last week’s loss at Minnesota. Cincinnati stumbled against Jacksonville, but that’s a team I’d still back over this one. It’s a big number. Fine, lay it anyway.
Bears at Packers — Bears -1.5
Chicago is 3-1 and just beat the Jets 23-12. Green Bay is 2-2 and squeaked by Tampa Bay by three, which isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement. Lambeau is Lambeau, but I’d rather be on the team that’s playing better right now.
Texans at Titans — Titans +6.5
Two 0-4 teams, and somebody has to win. Houston just lost 34-30 to Dallas, and the defense still can’t get a stop. Tennessee at least hung around at Baltimore last week, losing 24-18. Over a touchdown is too many for a team that can’t stop anybody.
Vikings at Saints — Vikings -1.5
Minnesota is 4-0 and the defense keeps dragging them across the line. They just beat Miami 15-10, ugly but a win. New Orleans gave up 45 to Atlanta on Monday night. That’s all I need to know. Take the Vikings.
Raiders at Patriots — Raiders +3.5
Las Vegas is 3-1 and their only loss was 30-27 to Kansas City, which no one is losing sleep over. New England just beat Buffalo 29-26, a nice win, but I’d rather grab the points. A hook above a field goal is a gift.
Giants at Commanders — Giants +3
New York is 3-1 after hanging 36 on Arizona. Washington is 1-3 and just got handled by the Colts 30-13 in London. Why is the home team the favorite here? Take the points, and don’t be shocked if the Giants win outright.
Browns at Jets — Browns +1.5
Cleveland is 3-1 now. They beat Pittsburgh 27-24 last week. The Jets are 1-3 and lost 23-12 in Chicago. I’m not overthinking it. Take the team with the better record getting points.
Colts at Steelers — Colts +2.5
Indianapolis is 3-1 and coming off a comfortable 30-13 win in London. Pittsburgh is 2-2 after losing to Cleveland, and the offense hasn’t looked right. I like the Colts getting the points here.
Broncos at Chargers — Broncos -3.5
Los Angeles is 0-4. They lost 30-23 at Seattle last week and haven’t won yet. Denver is 2-2, but the 24-14 loss at San Francisco is the kind that doesn’t tell you much. I’ll lay the points with the better team.
Lions at Cardinals — Lions -5.5
Detroit lost 32-26 at Carolina, which stings, but that’s a talented roster. Arizona is 1-3 and just gave up 36 to the Giants. This total is 53.5 for a reason. The Lions should be able to outscore a defense like that.
49ers at Seahawks — 49ers +3
San Francisco is 4-0 and Seattle is 3-1. These are two of the best teams in the NFC. I’ll take the points with the unbeaten team. Seattle just beat the Chargers 30-23, but San Francisco’s defense looked sharp against Denver in a 24-14 win.
Sunday Night, Oct. 11
Ravens at Falcons — Falcons +3.5
Atlanta put up 45 on New Orleans on Monday night and looked like a different offense. Baltimore is 3-1 but only beat winless Tennessee 24-18 last week. At home against a team that’s rolling, I’d take the points.
Monday Night, Oct. 12
Bills at Rams — Bills +2.5
Buffalo is 3-1 and dropped a 29-26 decision to New England last week. Los Angeles is 2-2 after beating Philly 24-20 on the road. The Bills are the better team on paper, and I’m getting points. Easy call for me.
